You chose a good time to visit, so you may save some money there. I'd suggest to get also Rick Steves' guide for specific suggestions where to stay on a budget. My husband and I plan a trip to Italy next October, 2008 and I am looking at all of my options. Your book helped squelch some of my fears of traveling abroad. We would like to take two weeks there.
